Here at SEJ Pharma, we are highly focused on community driven pharmaceutical services. Our goal and vision for each store is to deliver back into the community a prompt and efficient pharmaceutical service, that customers should expect. In recent years the sector has suffered overall, due to a combination of government cuts, pharmacist shortages and stock supply shortages, leading to long waiting times for customers and constant supply issues.
Within the SEJ group, we have a dedicated management team who have identified areas in the UK within dire need from a pharmaceutical perspective, where service levels are lacking for the above reasons. We work with corporate chains to make acquisitions of existing pharmacies within these areas, turning them into well managed independent stores within our group, with a director assigned to each store and a dedicated pharmacist assigned to each store, keeping in place the existing staff team. Furthermore we implement market leading technology into these stores (called TITAN), helping to reduce clinical check times and improve service levels accordingly, and work with the full range of suppliers (as opposed to a single ‘mainline’ supplier) to ensure continual availability of stock in all areas.
Our commitment to our customers is that we offer a maximum lead time of 3 working days for repeat prescriptions, which are usually processed on the same day (once received from the surgeries). We also keep high stock levels of repeat lines, and gain an understanding of our customers requirements through a combination of personalised service as well as technology, ensuring our OTIF (on time in full) dispensing rate is kept to the highest standard. Upon take-over of a store, it generally takes us 4-6 weeks to turn it around and give back to the community the service levels they need and expect.
